All Tumbling classes meet once per week for one hour. The difference between our Tumbling classes and the Trampoline and Tumbling classes is that kids focus on learning skills specific to Tumbling, i.e. back walkover, back handspring, etc. These classes are for both male and female kids ages 6-17 years old. The Tumbling program is designed to develop beginning to advanced tumbling skill progressions for floor exercises. These classes are ideal for anyone that wants to learn and practice tumbling. Old Pueblo Gymnastics Academy offers level 1 and level 2 classes.
Tumble Level 1:
This class is all about fundamental tumbling with a strong focus on proper technique, flexibility and strength needed to learn and perfect all tumbling. In this class the athlete will learn to master rolls, cartwheels, handstands, round-off’s, walkovers and more.
Tumble Level 2:
This class is for intermediate level tumblers. In this class we train for more variations of fundamental tumbling while starting to work on more advanced skills. In this class the athlete will begin to master front handsprings, back handsprings and round off back handsprings. (Registration for Level 2 must be approved by the Program Director)
Nicolette coaches recreational and developmental classes, and is the Head Coach for the T&T Team.
She was a gymnast for five years, and pole vaulted for three.
Nicolette’s hobbies include reading, cake decorating, and anything that involves Disney characters. She believes that if you must believe in yourself to go where you want.
