Charitable Contributions

Each year Old Pueblo Gymnastics Academy gives to non-profit organizations and assists individuals in financial need.  Over the years OPGA has given…
 

  • items for raffles and silent auctions

  • funding for charities

  • tuition assistance to families who couldn’t afford classes

  • free gymnastics camp experiences to families who couldn’t afford it

  • free private lessons for individuals with special needs

  • playdates and sponsorship for school events

    We are approached throughout the year by many individuals and organizations who request donated items for auctions and raffles.  We are happy to give, but because the demand has become so overwhelming, we are unable to fulfill every request.

Charitable Contributions Submission Form

Please submit this form and allow at least four weeks for your request to be processed.  Requests are processed in batches.  You will be notified if your organization is qualified for a donation.

The following policies and procedures are in place to handle incoming requests for charity fundraising:

  • Donations will only be given only to non-profit organizations.

  • Anyone may submit the name of their non-profit organization to receive a donation item unless their organization has already received an item that calendar year or unless their organization has already submitted a request which is still being considered.  Submission is done online.

  • Organization requests may be submitted any time of the year, but must be submitted at least one month before the donation is needed.  We process requests once a month and need time to review the requests in a timely manner,

  • If an organization is granted a donation, the contact person will be notified to pick up their donated item.  They will be required to bring in an official letter of receipt which also includes their organization’s EIN number in exchange for their OPGA certificate/donated item.

  • We will give one donation per non-profit organization or school per calendar year.
